Van Halen's new "Tattoo"

Careful what you wish for, because it may come true... that's what went through my mind when I watched the video for, recently reunited, Van Halen's new single "Tattoo". This sounds more like a late 80's David Lee Roth solo track than the original Van Halen the world loves. More often than not I felt like yelling "Get David some printed lyrics!" because they left in the times you could obviously see he didn't know the words but was still trying to mouth it... and his dancing in the video (especially the first minute or so) reminds me of Steve Martin's dancing in the movie The Jerk. With all the reasons not to enjoy this video and the song in general, I will be buying the new album that comes out. One because I have a CD addiction; and two because maybe, just maybe, the rest of the album will be good. Fingers crossed...
